Top of the Mountain to You

Enjoying a glass of wine at Twin Oaks Tavern Winery is a peak experience. Located on top of Blue Ridge Mountain, our hillside vineyard overlooking the Shenandoah Valley has the ideal altitude and mineral-rich soil to cultivate grapes that produce distinctive wines.

Winter, spring, summer, fall – our tasting room and wine decks are just an hour’s drive from the city and a world away for the day! In cool the weather you can enjoy the stone fireplace in our tasting room, and in warm weather, the wine decks are shady and breezy.

Bring your friends, kids, dogs and picnic… and discover the beauty of our top of the world setting.

– What Others are Saying –
I really want to thank you and your staff for what was truly one of the most memorable fall afternoons I’ve ever had. Your staff are the true gems, the wines are a bonus.
Just wanted to send you a quick note of appreciation. My girlfriend and I visited Twin Oaks Tavern Winery last week and truly enjoyed our time. Fred is very personable and provided answers to all our “historical” questions. I grew up in California and have had the pleasure of going to Napa Valley. I can honestly say that the view from your deck is simply amazing and while I guess your intent was not to compete with west coast vineyards, yours is doing just that!
I have been to your establishment twice and I had the best time with family and friends in the past 12 months. I have been to 65 wineries in the area and I will say that in my opinion, you have one of the Best boutique wineries that I have been to.
